Our story follows four primary individuals during 50th anniversary celebrations of The Cuban Revolution, a time when Fidel still roamed:
- Echauri Suarez, a devout Cuban Revolutionary leading his neighborhood's vigilance committee
- Orlando Contreras, a prominent dissident whose arrival in Echauri's neighborhood triggers events that unveils secrets, upending everyone's lives.
- Micaela Martinez, fiery Christian woman facing a deep crisis of faith.
- Coronel Ramiro Roca, the highest ranking military leader of Santa Clara, he practically embodies Fidel Castro in the story.
- Through a series of unexpected events these characters’ lives Will converge with the devout snitch becoming an unlikely dissident, and the dissident appearing to become a government informant.
